Fit Tips for Your Big Day

Everyone wants to look there best for the BIG day! Maybe it's for a photo shoot, wedding, competition, or just for yourself; there is always something we can do to prepare a little better! This post will be all about what you can do to look and feel your best and tackle any event with confidence!
TIPS
1. Give yourself time! Unfortunately, results don't happen overnight.
It typically takes four weeks for you to see your body changing, eight weeks for your friends and family, and 12 weeks for the rest of the world to notice!
2. Find a style of workout you enjoy doing! Many fitness studios give a new student their first class free! Some trending exercises right now are hot yoga, orangetheory fitness, spin classes (soul cycle, cycle bar), CrossFit, and many more!
3. Write down your goals to help you stay accountable! Then place the reminder somewhere you will see it everyday( phone, refrigerator, car.)
4. Friends make it fun! Who doesn’t know someone that is trying to better their health? It’s a common goal! Friends also are there to keep you accountable and motivate you!
5. Health and beauty aren’t just about appearance! Make yourself feel good. Treat yourself to a massage or facial. Maybe this can be a self-love present for staying on top of your goals for a while.
6. It’s eighty percent what you eat. What you put into your body will be a direct reflection of what comes out (energy, grease/oil, acne.) You only get one body in this life so give it the proper nutrition to perform the best it can!
7. Cut back on alcohol, sugary coffee drinks, and carbonated drinks! You’ll be amazed at how much better you feel and how much money you’ll save! These drinks are some of the main reasons for bloating!
8. Get plenty of beauty rest! If you don’t believe me, just try it out for a week and take a picture of what you look like each morning after at least 8+ hours of sleep! The results will speak for themselves!
9. Water is your secret weapon! You will stay full longer, your skin will clear up/glow, and your body will function better!  Each week try adding an additional cup to your daily water intake!
10. Don’t beat yourself up or quit after one bad day! Try your best, if you set your mind to it you can do anything! Still remember to enjoy yourself and indulge every once in a while. This can actually help you stay on track towards your goals!
